Two
wines from our Aventino Collection were reviewed
in Wine Advocate #175:
2005 Aventino 200 Barrels:
The 2005 200 Barrels is dark purple with a heady nose of toasty
oak, spice box, pencil lead, black cherry, and blackberry.
Layered, ripe, and dense, it has enough structure to evolve
for 2-3 years and should drink well through 2020.
90 points
2006 Aventino: The
2006 Aventino is purple-colored with an expressive, fruity
nose of blackberry and black cherry. Sweet, forward, and easy-going,
it is an excellent introduction to Ribera del Duero as well
as an excellent value.

The same issue of Wine Advocate
also listed our Montgó 2005 and Flor
del Montgó as BEST BUY SPANISH REDS $20 and
