Our team of winemakers is made up of two
qualified and well traveled winemakers each located in an
important region for Vinnico wines. They assist David by regulating
the day to day progression of the wine to ensure that the
standards of quality for Vinnico
Export wines are met with each order.
Sophie Kuhn, a French enologist
comes from a background of French winemaking. With a family
own winery and winemaking experience throughout Italy, France
and Spain, Sophie has a profound knowledge of wine and her
passion for the industry makes her an ideal addition to the
Vinnico team. A current resident to Arranda de Duero, Sophie
joined David´s team of winemakers in 2006 to assist
David in the controlling the progression of the Aventino
Collection in Ribera del Duero. Aside from working with
Vinnico Export,
Sophie also works as a winemaking consultant for three other
regional wineries.
Daniel Gimenez, a French
enologist having only officially joined the Vinnico Team in
2008, his presences in the Yecla wine community has had him
collaborating with David on Vinnico
Export wines such as Flor del Montgó Monastrell
since 2004. Now as part of the team, Daniel offers Vinnico
a wine making style influenced greatly by his French roots
and participation in Chilean and Californian harvests. A shared
philosophy of letting the pureness of the grape dominate the
wine, Daniel assist David by controlling the day to day progression
and quality of the Vinnico wines in the Yecla and Alicante
regions.
